Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Elvesoft ("Elvesoft", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit elvesoft.com (the "Website") or get in touch with us. We have written it in plain language and kept it short, because the Website itself collects very little.

1. Who we are

Elvesoft is a software company based in Istanbul, Türkiye. For personal data processed through the Website, Elvesoft is the data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").

You can reach us at hello@elvesoft.com or +90 532 456 81 76.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers the Website and your communication with Elvesoft. Our products have their own privacy policies, which explain what happens to the data you use inside them. For StreamHouse, please read the StreamHouse Privacy Policy.

3. Data we collect

When you contact us

If you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and the content of your message.

When you visit the Website

Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested. This includes your IP address, browser and device type, the page you visited, the referring page and the date and time of the request. These server logs are used only to keep the Website running and secure.

What we do not do

  • We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools on the Website.
  • We do not ask you to create an account or fill in forms on the Website.
  • We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

4. How we use your data

  • To reply to your questions and requests.
  • To discuss a possible business relationship with you.
  • To operate the Website and protect it against abuse and attacks.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

5. Legal basis

We process personal data on the following grounds under Article 5 of the KVKK and Article 6 of the GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests, for answering messages and keeping the Website secure.
  • Steps before or for a contract, when you contact us about working together.
  • Legal obligations, when the law requires us to keep or share certain information.
  • Your explicit consent, only where the law requires it. You can withdraw consent at any time.

6. Sharing your data

We share personal data only when it is needed:

  • With service providers that help us run the Website and our email, such as hosting and email providers. They process data only on our instructions.
  • With public authorities, courts or other parties when the law requires it.

7. International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Türkiye. When this happens, we rely on the transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by the KVKK and, where applicable, the GDPR.

8. How long we keep data

  • Messages and correspondence: for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
  • Server logs: for a short period for security purposes, after which they are deleted automatically.

9. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Learn whether we process your personal data and request information about it.
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used for that purpose.
  • Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom your data is transferred.
  • Ask us to correct incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Ask us to delete or destroy your data.
  • Ask us to notify third parties of any correction or deletion.
  • Object to a result that affects you and that comes only from automated analysis.
  • Claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.
  • Where the GDPR applies, restrict processing, object to processing and receive your data in a portable format.

To use any of these rights, email hello@elvesoft.com. We will reply as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. You also have the right to complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) or, if you are in the EU, to your local data protection authority.

10. Security

The Website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we limit access to personal data to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

11. Children

The Website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we will make it clearly visible on the Website.
